Appeals A distributor who disagrees with a classification decision for their work may appeal against it directly to the Board. Additionally, in the case of films, the company (or any member of the public) may address itself to the local authority which licenses cinemas in a particular area. In the case of videos, DVDs and games a company may appeal to the Video Appeals Committee (V.A.C.) which is independent of the Board. For the V.A.C. terms and conditions, please see our downloads section.
